My teammate, Rachel, enjoying a hammock on our desert day. Hiking through the jungle to our desert day location. I was in my element to say the least. The toad sitting in the corner of the kitchen. He refused to help. One of the many spiders that night. Not cool. One of our neighbors grilling some platanas (similar to bananas) to sell.
“Mama”- one of the stray dogs in General Cepeda. She’s super friendly and likes to follow us around town. It was hard to get a decent picture of her because she kept moving. This was the best I could do. Huddling up on the bench. It was COLD in General Cepeda! Please pray for those who don’t have enough blankets or coats that they can get the resources they need and stay warm in the cold. Third desert day location. I sat next to a beautiful stream with clear, blue water and lots of little fish! Second desert day location where we opened our envelopes. My friend Gemma. Her parents and her family are full time missionaries in Allende. A chapel at one of the many ranchos we visited.
